I'm Talkin' 'Bout R.O.O.T.S., I Can't Hate Where I'm From

Blouse - Oasis
Jumper - Oasis
Leggings - H&M
Shoes - New Look

Ahh I don't think anybody knows how much i love snakeskin! I love the print so when I saw this blouse I had to have it. Would have preferred if it was like a more browny goldy creamy kinda print but the grey still looked nice. Thought I'd make it quite preppy with the jumper and obviously the pu leggings were a must with the whole look! Went with the small wedges as they're easier to walk with :) I went with pink lipstick as I prefer it with the grey/silver shades.

What do you guys think?
And how were all of your christmas celebrations?

Top - Vintage
Skirt - Oasis

Today I was in a rush so it was kind of a basic outfit! Went with this vintage leotard which I love because if you know me you know I love anything monochrome especially when it's vertical stripes! Paired it with a basic jersey maxi skirt which has an elastic band at the waist to show it off that little bit more! Sadly as I was rushing I forgot to add the accessories needed, but I would of went with a nice statement necklace :)

But I can not believe i've reached 100 followers via GFC I'm so happy and this means there should be a giveaway soon!!
Thank you for all your support!

I Was On A Path To The Limelight.

Top - Oasis
Trousers - Oasis
Shoes - Oasis
Hat - H&M

Yesterday I went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park and this is what i wore! As we weren't quite sure on what we were doing I didn't know what to wear it was either cinema and dinner or Winter Wonderland so I went for dressy but comfortable just in case! I went with this glittery top from Oasis. Normally i'm not a very glitter sort of person especially silver as I don't wear much silver but I absolutely loved this especially as it has shoulder pads too!! So I decided to pair it with my Oasis velvet trousers. If you've been reading my recent posts you would know I have an obsession with velvet currently! So this is one of the many pieces from my velvet collection. I love these as they have a red silky kinda piping round the top and pockets. With trousers and jeans I feel I have to roll them up or I look to short, the disadvantages of being 5 ft 2 I guess! Still I think them being rolled up still makes the look quite preppy especially with the hat and lace up shoes! You guys probably think Oasis is one of my favourite shops as most of my clothes seem to be from there! I just seem to find really nice pieces from there and i've noticed not many people I know actually shop there so it allows me to stand out and be a little unique!

I can't believe Gossip Girl has finished! Anyone else traumatised by this!? On the brighter note Christmas is now only 4 days away I can't wait to see what i've got :)

New Look Blogger Competition!

"You Better Shape Up...For The Party Season" - So New Look currently have a competition going on where bloggers pick a dress and style it for party inspiration. The catch is that it has to be a dress which you think would suit your body shape! They've given 5 different types pear shaped, straight up & down, apple, plus-sized and hour glass. Personally I find my body shape quite weird as i'm quite big on my upper half even though weirdly it doesn't show! And i'm not small on my bottom but i'm not big either. So I would say i'm like an in between pear shaped and hour glass but mainly i'm going to go with hour glass :) So working with this i've always seemed to notice that skater styled dresses and skirts really flatter my figure. So when searching through all their dress this skater stood out. I love the colour and the fact that it was velvet just sold me further. I'm currently very very veeeerrry obsessed with velvet :) I seem to find skater dresses flattering as they do my top half justice as well hide the little growing belly that I have and to add it shows of my little waist. I'm sure you guys have also noticed i'm very stud obsessed so i went with these heels and clutch as they go perfectly together and black goes with everything so thought it would cute with the dress. I love statement jewellery so i was going to go with a statement necklace as the dress is quite plain however when I saw the cuff I thought putting one on each arm would party it up! So i went with a simple long cross necklace and little studs. Personally I think a nice little head chain would look so cute with the look but sadly New Look didn't have any online!

What do you guys think of my choice?

You Move Through The Room Like Breathing Was Easy.

Playsuit - Oasis
Heels - Vintage

As you can see i've gone with the look of less is more! I decided not to wear any jewellery as to me it seemed more elegant without all the bling. The playsuit is a lovely material its so soft and silky and I felt like a million dollars wearing it. Sadly I can't show you the tie up at the back, it's extra long and thick so you can do a big bow which I thought added to the cutest. This little number was an absolute bargain as it was passed down to me for free :)

The lyrics in the title of this post is The XX - Angels which is a song i've been in love for ages!! Like absolutely ages and just never knew the name. I remembered to shazam it today and I was like exceptionally happy for ages!! Now you know it's going to get overplayed :)

I really need to start doing some more day wear outfits they all just seem to be evening!! So my sincerest apologies for that!

Hope you're all well :)

I'm Just Saying You Can Do Better.

Dress - Miss Selfridge
Jacket - Zara
Heels - Vintage
Clutch - Primark
Anklet - Portugal Stall

I recently attended my managers wedding reception, it was my first time going to a non-indian wedding. So I absolutely had no idea on what to wear!? I literally asked everyone and also the other invitees which I knew and they all basically said a pretty dress. I've had this Miss S number for a while and haven't had the chance to showcase it. This seemed to be the perfect occasion its and elegant yet cute dress. I love the sleeve detailing as it puffy and then cuffs and the little bows on the waist! When I saw it on the hanger I thought nope it really isn't going to suit me but trust me it's extremely flattering! Went with my basic heels and clutch as red and black always look cute together and i love getting gold studs into anything and everything. The leather jacket made it look a little more chic!

Sorry for the lack of posts i've finally finished my first term of my second year of uni and am now home for 3 weeks. So what does that mean? PLENTY MORE POSTS!!

Hope you're all well :)

I Can Not Breathe, Let Me Be Free From Myself

Playsuit - Mango
Boots - River Island
Cuff - Vintage
Jacket - Zara
Earrings - Primark

Sunday night was my work christmas do, we went to Smollenskys in Strand. It was like a bar plus restaurant quite a nice place. They're cocktails were amazing I was addicted to the berrilicious which I regretted the next day when I struggled to get up. I decided to go quite dinner but able to go clubbing in as the plan for after was to go to Aura but I didn't really feel up for it when it go to the time to leave. So I went for this Mango playsuit I love it as I find it quite flattering it goes in and out at the right places so it did extremely well in hiding my bloatedness. The print is gorge too! Well it is to me as i'm totally addicted to monochrome currently all I seem to wear is black and white. I find this funnier because while writing this I am wearing black and white!! Now these boots aren't actually mine I've 'borrowed' them from my sister they're gorgeous she got them from River Island. They're the perfect winter boots in my eyes, they have a zip detailing on the inside and outside which I Love! To accessorise I went with my vintage silver cuff which has a big red stone in the middle. Sorry for the photos, still relying on my Iphone so you guys can't see the details! For earrings I went for simple pearls, I find them so elegant!! And to save me from the cold I went to my beautiful Zara studded leather!!

Anyone else been out for their work dos? Would love to see your outfits
Hope you're all good

You And I Go Hard, At Each Other Like We Going To War.

Top - H&M
Skirt - Warehouse
Earrings - Asos
Ring - Topshop

Quick outfit post from the other night! I am totally loving acid was these days, literally just bought a pair of jeggings and jeans but they look like the same thing! As you can see I get a bit excited on pay day! Absolutely love statement jewellery so you can understand why I bought these earrings. They're the biggest touch to the whole outfit! However I did think maybe a necklace would be too much.

Sorry for the short post my last assignment is friday and trust me i'm so excited for the 4 weeks of freedom!!

Hope everyones good and is anyone else getting a little excited on payday?

I've been a fool, a fool for you.

Top - Topshop
Leggings - Topshop
Shoes - Converse
Necklace - Topshop
Ring - Topshop

As you can see i've gone a little Topshop crazy with this outfit! I got a little excited the other day and went shopping crazy and most of my money went to them. First I got this camo tee which seems to be quite on trend now but it seems to be something I could just tuck in to everything and anything and also its at a length where i could just wear it on leggings if I wanted. The leggings were so thick and the camel colour I can see being a winter essential alongside emerald green and oxblood seemed like a must have. Now my favourite piece is this necklace! It reminds me of the boy london bird but also of the american eagle but its just the perfect statement necklace. I wore it out on Monday night a outfit which will be up soon and the amount of people who asked where my necklace was from was unbelievable!

I'm also a little instagram crazy too!! So feel free to follow me my names itsshradha and the link is just on the right!

Anyone else going shopping crazy these days? Can't wait for friday it's PAY DAY!

I Feel So Close To You Right Now.

Playsuit - Ark.co.uk
Earrings - Topshop
Heels - River Island

Quick post today as my deadlines are taking over my life!! This was for a night out where I actually had no time to get ready. So as you can see I am lacking with the accessories, would have preferred a necklace and maybe some rings! My heels aren't even shown but they were brown with bows I will try post a photo after my work load has calmed down again. Also this playsuit was an absolute bargain I got in on sale for only 15! And the material and fit was so good so definitely a good buy.

Hope everyones well and aren't stuck at home doing work!!

Anything Could Happen..

Top - Topman
Skirt - Oasis
Wedges - New Look
Fur - From My Missguided Coat
Leather Jacket - Zara

This is casual outfit for when i went to go watch Twilight the other day. Sorry for the lack of pictures I was running so late and wanted to be on time! Little did I know that trailers would go on for 30 minutes so I wasn't late at all!! I love wearing basic tees, they go with absolutely everything! They also give quite a trendy look and I'd normally go with leather but most of my leather is too short for this weather so paired it with my maxi which i've worn very high that way it comes to a 3/4 length! Went with my go to wedges, these are my day wear black shoes as I haven't found a pair of black flats which I love yet. Finally get to show you my love which is this Zara jacket, well I used to love it up until all the copies and cheaper versions of it. Would still be satisfied with this Zara but the quality isn't amazing as in my make up got on the collar and now it just won't come off?! That has never happened to me before! However the detailing on this jacket is still LOVE but if anyone is looking for a cheaper version the Missguided one is also gorgeous! That's where my fur is from! Its from my winter coat which I should post up soon, I'm so glad the fur is detachable as it goes with absolutely everything!!

Anyone else seen Twilight yet!? Anyone else LOVE it as much as I did!? Seriously the best end to the series ever <3

I'm In Love With You, And All Your Little Things.

Blouse - Oasis
Shorts - Asos
Earrings - Asos
Heels - Vintage
Ring - Topshop

This was my outfit from Monday night as we also went out for my friends birthday as in clubbing. It was just a local night in Leicester, obviously student so it was nice and student friendly with the prices lol. Decided to go with my cream batwing blouse as I was saying in my post before the arms have been gaining weight so this was perfect to hide them! I was actually cleaning my cupboard the other day and noticed I've still got so many unworn blouses to wear so expect a lot of blouse friendly posts coming your way!! This I paired with my favourite black high waisted shorts. They're my favourite because of the zip detailing and the fact that they always seem to hide my tummy really well!! Went with my go to basic black wedges, however if i re-did this outfit i could wear it with my red wedges or even my red bottom cream heels. To accessorise I chose the go to Primark studded clutch isn't pictured but you can see it in some of my posts from before. For jewellery i went with my black and white studs as I love statement earrings you'll soon realise :) and my chained ring which for some reason you can't see so I will take a picture of it soon!

Got any ideas on how else I can wear blouses? Got so many to wear you guys might as well help me on how to style them :)

I Don't Care, Can't Tell Me Nothing.

Top - Topshop
Skirt - River Island
Wedges - New Look
Necklace - New Look

This was a quick outfit for my friends 21st dinner celebrations, She said dressy but not too dressy. So i decided to wear the go to crop top! Recently purchased this from Topshop love the fact that it has long sleeves hides my upper arms which sadly seem to be getting chubbier! Then I was confused whether to go for this midi wetlook skirt or a dip-hem skirt but I decided with this as I thought it looked more elegant. You guys can't actually see the detailing of this skirt but its basically a wet look midi lol which I love as it just looks like pu but it isn't so i can wear it so casually and its so comfortable which is helpful! Then to add some ott to the outfit I added the New Look statement necklace. She said no heels but as i'm a shorty at 5ft2 I had to wear a little something, So went with these cute little wedges! Which were a steal at £17 from New Look. One of my happy purchases lol apologies for the messy room behind me I seem to be getting a little lazy :)

Hope you guys are good

Don't Talk About It, Be About It..

Shirt - H&M
Shorts - Oasis
Tie - Stolen From Brother :)
Heels - New Look

Recently I attended a school night dress up and decided to go like this. The plan was skirt with tied up shirts but doesn't everyone do that? So decided to do shorts, sadly i couldn't find my braces to add the touch i wanted!  This shirt is lovely though but you guys can't see the back detailing it has a cut out. I honestly don't think I think my photos through properly when i take them. I promise I will try to improve!! The shorts have a scalloped cut which are surprisingly extremely flattering on my legs and they're also high waisted which is always a plus. Once again i've left out my heels! I paired the outfit with my lace up shoe boot heels which added a good touch thought knee high socks would be a bit OTT so i left it out.

Anyone have any ideas on how to dress up as a school girl?
